UK country and Americana artist Devan is set to release his debut single, “Wyatt Earp,” on Friday 3rd April 2026. The track marks the beginning of his recording journey and introduces a new artist whose music is shaped by storytelling, family roots and personal experience. Coming from March in Cambridgeshire, Devan describes himself as a proud “Fen boy,” bringing his own perspective to the growing UK country scene.
What makes the release especially notable is that “Wyatt Earp” is Devan’s first experience of both songwriting and recording. Despite having always loved singing, he had never previously written or recorded his own music. He has described the single as the start of a new chapter, saying he is excited about what lies ahead as he steps further into music on his own terms.
The single has already received early support on radio, including a feature on CountryLine Homegrown with Tim Prottey-Jones. For Devan, hearing his music played on air while surrounded by family was an important moment and one he called a “full circle experience.” That early response suggests that “Wyatt Earp” is already helping him make an impression beyond his local area.
Away from music, Devan works as a carpenter with Sovereign Quarter Horses in Cambridgeshire and has also performed at their Rockin’ the Country festival. He plans to host his EP launch there later this year. With a debut EP on the horizon and songs rooted in resilience, identity and family, Devan is beginning his career with a clear sense of who he is and what he wants his music to say.
